Green Step #1

Our inaugural "Green Step" was the founding of the company in 2023 and going live on Amazon on Februari 23rd 2024, marking a significant milestone in bringing to life a business and philosophy centered on sustainability. This first major step involved launching products that reflect our commitment to the environment, utilizing FSC-certified boxes to ensure responsible sourcing of materials and incorporating natural enzymes in our products instead of relying on toxic chemicals. This foundational move set the tone for our ongoing dedication to eco-friendly practices and established the core of what 'Green Steps' represents: a persistent effort towards greater environmental responsibility.

April 1st, 2024

Green Step #2

Green Step #2 marked another foundational moment for our company as we planted our first tree, symbolizing our commitment to environmental restoration. This step goes beyond mere symbolic gestures; it involves a thoughtful and sustainable approach to reforestation. Under our "1 box, 1 tree" initiative, we recognize that the costs of planting a tree extend well beyond the sapling itself. Our model includes purchasing land to ensure that the trees are protected from threats like logging or illegal deforestation. Additionally, we collaborate with local biologists who guide us in selecting the appropriate species of trees to plant, ensuring that our efforts are ecologically sound and beneficial to the local environment. This first tree planting represents the beginning of a journey towards substantial ecological impact, with plans for many more trees and updates to come in 2024. This step is not just a milestone; it's a testament to the path we are committed to forging in the pursuit of a greener future.

Green Step #3 in April was a milestone for our commitment to environmental conservation, featuring our first official donation to the Rainforest Alliance. This organization is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable livelihoods of people in forested areas, working through certification, educational programs, and market engagement to promote environmentally responsible business practices. We contributed $1 from each of the 104 boxes sold during this month. Every month, we plan to select a different organization to support, expanding our impact as our company grows. As sales increase, both the dollar amount and the number of boxes contributing to this initiative will rise. This initial donation in March was a resounding success, affirming our dedication to making a positive environmental impact and supporting vital conservation efforts.

During our visit, we plan to collaborate with local experts in wildlife and flora to ensure our reforestation efforts are both effective and environmentally sensitive. This step is crucial as it lays the groundwork for our future projects and reaffirms our commitment to restoring these vital ecosystems.

Green Step #5 focusses on our carbon footprint and reducing our Co2 emissions by using premium eco friendly materials and AI software to increase efficiency.

Over the past year, we produced a little bit over 22,000 boxes of our recycled cardboard laundry, dishwasher pods, and sheets. By choosing recycled cardboard over traditional plastic packaging, we saved approximately 9,570 kg of CO2 emissions. This is a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our logistics. With smart shipment options that optimize container space, we ensure shorter and more efficient routes, further reducing our environmental impact. We're proud to partner with Amazon Global Logistics, whose efficiency and expertise have greatly enhanced our shipment processes. Thank you, Amazon, for your excellent partnership and support.

In addition to our packaging and logistics, our products are designed to be eco-friendly. Our FSC-certified boxes guarantee that the paper comes from responsibly managed forests, and our enzyme-based detergents are gentle on both your clothes and the environment.
